Season 3 Week 8: Settlement & Final Rewards
Close Season 3 correctly: distribute rewards, finish remaining seasonal value, convert resources intelligently and prepare for the post-season Black Market.
Claim and distribute rewards first, then finish only seasonal activities that still create real value. Use Mithril and Sacred Water on reachable building levels before the Day 7 conversion, spend expiring Bazaar currency deliberately and take screenshots of every ranking, allocation and conversion mail. Week 8 is settlement—not an empty week.
What Week 8 actually is
Week 8 has one principal mission, Taste of Victory, and begins the Season 3 settlement period. Fighting over seasonal territory stops, many production sources close and most season-event tiles disappear. Build an Oasis, Desert Bazaar and Desert Treasure remain available in documented releases until the final cutoff.

| Priority | Action | Why now |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Secure rewards | Check Taste of Victory, faction mail, alliance eligibility and R5 allocation. | Season rewards are the largest irreversible Week 8 decision. |
| 2. Finish progression | Reach realistic profession and seasonal-building milestones. | Active use normally creates more value than leaving resources for automatic conversion. |
| 3. Clear expiring stores | Review Desert Bazaar, Desert Treasure and every live countdown. | Unused shop currency has no value if the event closes before it is spent. |
| 4. Record settlement | Screenshot rankings, rewards, distribution and conversion mail. | It prevents disputes and provides evidence for future seasons. |
| 5. Prepare offseason | Save general resources and watch the live celebration/Black Market schedule. | Post-season events vary and should not be guessed from an older server timeline. |
The seven-day settlement plan
Read the settlement mail
Open Taste of Victory, verify the final alliance and faction ranks, check reward eligibility and record every live deadline. Confirm which systems stopped at reset.
Finish with: a published settlement calendar and reward policy.
Audit every account
Check profession level, Mithril, Sacred Water, Protector stock, Bazaar scales, unclaimed goals, Desert Treasures, artifacts and remaining building breakpoints.
Finish with: a personal spend, claim and convert list.
Complete worthwhile milestones
Use active sources of profession experience and upgrade seasonal buildings only when the next level is reachable. Continue Fountain collection and useful Oasis work.
Finish with: no half-funded project consuming resources without a milestone.
Finalise alliance rewards
R5 and authorised leadership verify recipients, eligibility and allocation. Resolve names before pressing the final distribution control.
Finish with: a checked allocation sheet and member acknowledgement.
Spend seasonal shop currency
Compare permanent items, scarce materials and convenience resources in the live Bazaar. Use Desert Treasure and remaining Sandworm opportunities deliberately.
Finish with: no expiring currency left by accident.
Run the final sweep
Claim all goals, milestones, mail, passes and production. Make the last building/resource decision and capture screenshots of final levels and balances.
Finish with: every visible red dot and claim button checked.
Observe the hard cutoff
Finish before the live timer, then read conversion and closure mail carefully. Use received profession-experience items and recruitment orders according to account needs.
Finish with: conversion verified and offseason inventory recorded.
Taste of Victory rewards
There are two separate reward paths. Alliance rewards are assigned through the settlement interface by the R5 and authorised Butler role in documented releases. Faction rewards arrive through mail. Community records state that the Curse Research Lab must be level 20 or higher for faction-reward eligibility; confirm this on the live event page.
Alliance reward distribution
- Open the final alliance ranking and available reward inventory.
- Publish the allocation principle before assigning names.
- Confirm the recipient is eligible and has not already received a season reward.
- Assign every available reward; the final distribution control appears after allocation is complete.
- Have a second leader verify names and quantities.
- Distribute, then screenshot the completed list and notify members.
Community-documented rules allow only one season reward per player. A member must also be present and eligible when the relevant alliance completes distribution. Never move alliances based on an informal promise without checking the live restrictions and cooldown.
A fair allocation model
| Evidence | How to use it | What to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Season contribution | Use recorded seasonal participation as the core measure. | Judging eight weeks from the final battle alone. |
| Attendance and operational roles | Credit callers, defenders, scouts, organisers and support—not only raw power. | Rewarding only visible kill leaders. |
| Reliability | Recognise players who followed plans and completed assigned work. | Changing the rules after seeing the reward inventory. |
| Progression impact | Use limited rewards where they create meaningful alliance value. | Using “future value” to ignore contribution completely. |
What stops and what remains
| Stops from settlement Day 1 | Remains temporarily available |
|---|---|
| Cross-warzone teleports within the season group. | Season buildings can still be upgraded before the final cutoff. |
| Attacks on seasonal Strongholds, cities and Trade Posts. | Blessing Fountains continue producing Sacred Water. |
| Secondary Alliance Center resource production. | Season 3 Doom Walkers, Doom Elites and smaller zombies remain. |
| Spice production from cities. | Profession experience can still be earned through active methods. |
| Mithril production from Strongholds. | Build an Oasis, Desert Bazaar and Desert Treasure remain in documented releases. |
| Desert Blessing combat effects. | Sandworms, Protector use/conversion and Desert Ruins radar missions remain. |
| Season Battle Pass and Weekly Pass availability. | Season contributions, milestones, Alliance Center and main timeline remain viewable. |
| Season 3 SSR-to-UR promotion action. | Legend Returns, Weapons of Legends and profession skills remain until their live timers end. |
Use or convert? Make the resource decision correctly
Official Last War support confirms that unused Sacred Water and Mithril automatically convert into profession/career experience at season end. It does not publish a universal conversion table on that support page, so do not build a plan around an unofficial fixed rate.
| Situation | Best action | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| A useful building level is affordable | Upgrade before the cutoff. | Building upgrades can award profession experience directly while also completing goals or milestones. |
| A milestone is one reachable level away | Calculate the remaining production and finish it. | Claimable milestone rewards may exceed passive conversion value. |
| Next level is impossible | Stop spending other resources to force it; allow the balance to convert. | Partial progress that produces no level has little settlement value. |
| Profession level is near a major breakpoint | Prioritise active profession experience, then use conversion items after mail arrives. | Week 8 remains a final opportunity to complete the season profession path. |
| Bazaar currency remains | Spend it against the live shop and countdown. | Do not assume shop currency receives the same conversion treatment as Mithril or Sacred Water. |
| Protectors remain | Use only for worthwhile rewards or allow the documented end conversion. | Burning units for no reward merely to reach zero is not automatically efficient. |
The Day 7 hard-cutoff checklist
At the final closure, seasonal items are converted according to the mail shown on your server. Community records describe profession-experience items and recruitment orders among the results. A recruitment order produces one troop unit at the highest tier the account can currently train. Read the received item description before using it.
Prepare for the post-season Black Market
The Black Market is a celebration-period store, not a guaranteed Week 8 opening. Its timing and stock have changed between server groups. Prepare for it, but use the live countdown rather than an old date.
- Save general currencies and avoid optional spending until the live market is visible.
- Read the complete stock before using refreshes or market currency.
- Prioritise permanent, scarce progression over ordinary resources.
- Compare decorations and exclusive items by actual account value, not appearance.
- Keep a reserve until the final shop rotation unless the live rules show there is none.
- Do not buy an item merely because it carries a season label.
R4/R5 settlement command sheet
- Publish every Week 8 and Day 7 deadline in server and local time.
- Freeze the reward policy before assigning recipients.
- Verify eligibility, spelling and allocation with two leaders.
- Distribute all rewards before the live cutoff and retain screenshots.
- Remind members which production stopped and what remains active.
- Run a Day 5 resource and Bazaar reminder.
- Run a Day 6 final-claims checklist.
- Record final alliance, faction and member contribution results.
- Explain automatic conversions without inventing an unsupported rate.
- Publish a separate post-season/Black Market briefing when its live timer appears.
Copy-ready settlement message
SEASON 3 SETTLEMENT: final cutoff is [DATE/TIME]. Check Taste of Victory rewards, claim every Season Goal, collect Fountain production, complete only reachable building levels, spend Desert Bazaar currency and finish useful Oasis/Treasure actions. Screenshot your final profession level and balances. Do not rely on automatic conversion for shop currency. Reward questions go to [CONTACT] before [DEADLINE].
Settlement mistakes to avoid
- Treating Week 8 as finished on Day 1 and missing seven days of remaining value.
- Distributing alliance rewards without a published policy or second-name check.
- Assuming one player can collect season rewards from multiple alliances.
- Leaving achievable goals, Fountain production or profession levels unclaimed.
- Spending heavily to start a building level that cannot finish.
- Assuming every seasonal currency converts at the same rate.
- Waiting until the final hour to review the Bazaar.
- Promising a Black Market date that is not shown on the live server.
