Complete Exclusive Weapons Guide
Déverrouillez, coûtez et priorisez chaque jalon significatif d'arme exclusive sans gaspiller la ressource la plus rare de développement de héros.
Build weapons for the five heroes you actually fight with. For most accounts that means taking the main damage dealer to a useful milestone, fixing the frontline if it dies too early, and only then funding a second attacker. Level 20 is often the best value target; Level 30 is a deliberate long-term commitment, not the automatic next step.
Start here: weapon, gear or hero skill?
An Exclusive Weapon is a permanent hero-specific upgrade. It is not one of the four removable gear pieces. Gear can be transferred; weapon progress stays with that hero. A weapon raises the hero’s attributes between levels and changes parts of the hero’s kit at the major milestones.
The hero normally needs to be UR, five stars and supported by an available weapon release on your server. The unlock uses 50 shards bearing that hero’s name. Once it is unlocked, named shards and Universal Exclusive Weapon Shards can fund later levels. Server age, season and release schedule determine which weapons are visible, so another player may have options that your account does not yet show.
| Upgrade | What it changes | When it wins priority |
|---|---|---|
| Hero stars | Base attributes and skill access; five stars is the normal weapon gate. | The hero is not yet at five stars or is still fighting for a permanent squad place. |
| Compétences | The strength and timing of the hero’s battlefield job. | A key skill is under-levelled and cheaper than the next weapon milestone. |
| Vitesse | Reusable Attack, HP and Defence; promotions can be moved later. | The frontline collapses or the carry lacks basic offensive gear. |
| Exclusive Weapon | Hero-specific attributes and kit-changing milestone effects. | The hero is permanent, properly skilled and the whole milestone can be finished. |
The cost curve — plan the whole journey
The cost rises sharply. Small unfinished projects consume shards without reaching the effects that made the weapon worth starting. The table below follows the level costs used by the Academy planner; always compare it with the live upgrade screen after a game update.
| Upgrade range | Cost per level | Range cost | Cumulative from locked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Locked → Level 1 | 50 named shards | 50 | 50 |
| Level 1 → 5 | 20 × 4 | 80 | 130 |
| Level 5 → 10 | 40 × 5 | 200 | 330 |
| Level 10 → 15 | 60 × 5 | 300 | 630 |
| Level 15 → 20 | 100 × 5 | 500 | 1,130 |
| Level 20 → 25 | 150 × 5 | 750 | 1,880 |
| Level 25 → 30 | 200 × 5 | 1,000 | 2,880 |
Useful comparisons: locked to 10 costs 330; 10 to 20 costs 800; 20 to 30 costs 1,750. That final climb costs more than taking another locked weapon all the way to Level 20. This is why a balanced main squad can gain more from several Level-20 weapons than one Level-30 weapon surrounded by unfinished projects.
Calculate my exact weapon target
What the milestone levels mean
| Milestone | Practical meaning | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Activates the weapon and its opening hero-specific effect. | Unlock only when the hero belongs in the long-term formation. |
| Level 10 | First major developed breakpoint and a new or improved effect. | Efficient early stopping point for a secondary hero. |
| Level 20 | Frequently introduces the most important formation benefit. | Strong default target for permanent core heroes. |
| Level 30 | Final standard milestone and the most expensive commitment. | Main carry or decisive protector after comparison with every Level-20 alternative. |
Do not assume every Level-20 effect does the same thing. One weapon may improve the whole troop type, another may extend protection, control, critical pressure or a hero’s own attack. Tap each milestone in the live weapon screen and read the wording before spending.
The decision order that works
- Choose the squad, not the famous hero. A weapon used in every important march beats an impressive bench weapon.
- Find the current failure. Is the frontline dying, is the carry failing to finish, or is control arriving too late?
- Select one complete milestone. Do not spend until the calculator shows that the target is affordable.
- Compare opportunity cost. Put Level 30 beside the price of another Level 20, stronger gear, skills or drone progress.
- Test it. Save comparable battle reports before and after. Look at survival time, damage dealt and damage taken—not power alone.
Tank weapon roadmap
| Héros | Weapon job | Practical priority |
|---|---|---|
| Kimberly | Primary energy carry and formation damage. | Usual first Tank weapon. Build efficient milestones first; make Level 30 a conscious main-carry target. |
| Murphy | Frontline mitigation and team protection. | Move him up when basic attacks or an early frontline collapse are ending fights before Kimberly can work. |
| Williams | Durable frontline and time creation. | Prioritise when his extra survival produces another damage cycle for the back row. |
| Stetmann | Second-carry pressure. | Normally follows the primary carry and essential protection milestones. |
| Marshall | Team buff and support uptime. | Judge by the extra damage created for teammates, not Marshall’s personal bar. |
Common Tank path: Kimberly to a meaningful breakpoint → whichever frontline weapon fixes the real survival problem → second carry or Marshall support. If the formation stays alive comfortably but cannot finish, attacker progress moves ahead of defence.
Aircraft weapon roadmap
| Héros | Weapon job | Practical priority |
|---|---|---|
| DVA | Core Aircraft damage and formation scaling. | Usual first Aircraft weapon and strongest early carry project. |
| Lucius | Formation protection and frontline stability. | High priority when the Aircraft team dies before DVA and the back row complete their attack cycles. |
| Carlie | Frontline durability with Aircraft-specific value. | Compare directly with Lucius; improve the defender that battle reports show is failing first. |
| Morrison | Later-season second-carry pressure. | Fund after DVA and the essential protective breakpoint are established. |
| Schuyler | Damage plus control. | Raise when the next milestone changes stuns, eliminations or tactics timing—not for displayed power alone. |
Common Aircraft path: DVA → Lucius or Carlie according to survival evidence → Morrison or Schuyler according to damage and control. A formation that dies early does not benefit from endlessly improving its carry.
Missile weapon roadmap
| Héros | Weapon job | Practical priority |
|---|---|---|
| Tesla | Primary Missile carry and multi-target pressure. | Usual first Missile project. Level 20 is an important foundation; Level 30 is the major carry decision. |
| McGregor | Protection, control and useful frontline time. | Often the next major project after Tesla when formation survival is the constraint. |
| Fiona | Later-season co-carry and broad pressure. | Strong follow-up when damage is the next limitation and her weapon is available on the server. |
| Rapide | Execution and finishing pressure. | Later damage project; confirm it creates an earlier elimination before pushing deeply. |
| Adam | Defensive survival and retaliation window. | Prioritise only when keeping the wall alive produces more value than another attacker milestone. |
Common Missile path: Tesla → McGregor or Adam if the frontline is the problem → Fiona or Swift if opponents survive with low health. Availability follows the server timeline, so do not spend universal shards on a temporary project just because the intended weapon has not released yet.
Promoted SSR heroes and later systems
A seasonal SSR-to-UR promotion is not automatically the same as receiving a normal Exclusive Weapon. Heroes such as Mason, Violet, Sarah, Venom and Braz should be judged by their promoted kit and the system displayed on your live server. Do not assume that every UR portrait creates another place to spend Universal Exclusive Weapon Shards. Later-season Hero Awakening is also a separate progression system.
Free-to-play and low-spend plan
- Keep universal shards unspent until the target weapon is unlocked and the complete milestone is affordable.
- Build around one troop-type formation; three half-funded formations multiply every expensive requirement.
- Use named shards on their matching permanent hero before consuming universal stock.
- Prefer Level 10 and Level 20 breakpoints across the active five over decorative progress on the bench.
- Only start a Level-30 push when that hero is very unlikely to leave the main squad.
How to prove the upgrade worked
Use the same march, similar opponent and same battle type. In the report, compare:
- Carry weapon: damage dealt, first elimination timing and whether an extra tactics cycle occurred.
- Defender weapon: damage taken, survival order and whether protected attackers lived longer.
- Support weapon: the teammates’ improved output and survival, not just the support hero’s own totals.
- Formation milestone: all five heroes, because a troop-wide bonus will not be visible in one personal damage bar.

Common mistakes
- Unlocking everything: five Level-1 weapons can be less useful than one completed formation-changing milestone.
- Blindly copying a whale: their frontline, drone, research and future roster may make the same choice sensible for them and wrong for you.
- Chasing power: a larger number does not show whether the weapon solved the battle’s actual failure.
- Ignoring release timing: spending universal shards immediately can leave nothing for the next permanent hero.
- Funding a doomed hero: do not deepen a weapon because of sunk cost when that hero is leaving the formation.
Commander checklist
- The hero is five stars, permanent and used in my main squad.
- I have read the exact live Level 1, 10, 20 and 30 descriptions.
- I know the full cost to my chosen stopping point.
- I have compared it with another weapon milestone, gear, skills and drone.
- I know what change I expect to see in the battle report.
Frequently asked questions
Can universal shards unlock a weapon?
No. The normal unlock requires 50 shards bearing that hero’s name. Universal Exclusive Weapon Shards become usable after the weapon has been activated.
Should every main hero go to Level 10 first?
Not automatically. It is a useful balanced pattern, but a carry Level 20 or a critical defender milestone may solve more than an irrelevant Level 10. Compare the actual effects.
Is Level 30 always best?
It is the strongest standard level for that weapon, but not always the strongest use of 1,750 shards. Two formation-wide Level-20 effects may improve the complete squad more.
What happens after Level 30?
Some later servers expose over-cap enhancement tracks for Attack, HP and Defence. Treat these as end-game optimisation after the main formation’s defining standard milestones are established, and follow the order shown on the live screen.

Evidence reviewed 26 July 2026. Release timing, promoted heroes, weapon wording and balance can differ by server. The live weapon screen is the final authority. External sources disagree on some cumulative labels, so the Academy table shows every cost bracket rather than relying on a single headline total.
