The Complete Season 3: Golden Kingdom Guide
La campagne complète de huit semaines de la saison 3 : bâtiments, ressources, résistance, villes, Oasis, artefacts, héros, guerre des épices et établissement.
Upgrade Sacred Water production early, raise Curse Resistance for the next alliance target, collect every available Mithril source and follow the alliance city plan. Season 3 is a connected production race: stronger seasonal buildings unlock harder targets, and those targets produce the resources needed for the next step.
What changes in the Golden Kingdom
Season 3 moves the warzone into a desert campaign built around ancient cities, Digging Strongholds, Trade Posts, Sandworms and the Golden Kingdom’s curse. Your normal heroes, gear, drone and research still matter, but ordinary combat power is no longer the only gate. Curse Resistance determines whether your squad can fight many seasonal enemies efficiently, while seasonal buildings and alliance territory determine how quickly the whole group progresses.
The season has three linked layers:
- Personal development: build Blessing Fountains, raise the Curse Research Lab and prepare Desert Protectors.
- Alliance expansion: capture cities and Digging Strongholds, develop the Alliance Center and produce Spices.
- Warzone progression: complete seasonal milestones, greenify the desert and compete in later alliance conflicts.
Do not treat these as separate events. Personal resistance helps alliance captures; alliance captures create Mithril and Spices; those resources improve the seasonal buildings used in the next operation.
The three resources you must separate
| Resource | Main purpose | Reliable sources | Default priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sacred Water | Constructs and upgrades seasonal buildings and increases Curse Resistance. | Blessing Fountains, Sacred Water Hut, seasonal goals, selected first kills, city captures and Desert Bazaar exchanges. | Invest early in production and the resistance needed for the next target. |
| Mithril | Upgrades key buildings including Fountains, Altar and Protector’s Field. | Digging Strongholds, Desert Ruins, Desert Treasures, visitors, seasonal goals and selected first kills. | Claim every recurring source; avoid low-impact building levels while a key unlock is waiting. |
| Spices | Determines Alliance Center level and contributes to alliance settlement ranking. | Alliance Center production, occupied cities and successful Spice War attacks. | Treat as alliance property and follow leadership’s protection and war plan. |
Official support states that unused Sacred Water and Mithril convert into career experience at season end. That prevents them becoming completely worthless, but it is not a reason to hoard resources while a useful seasonal building or resistance breakpoint would improve weeks of progress.

Your first building priorities
Seasonal buildings are temporary, so judge them by the value they create during Season 3. Production and access upgrades normally pay for themselves earlier than a small late-season statistic.
| Building | What it does | Practical rule |
|---|---|---|
| Blessing Fountain | Produces Sacred Water. | Official guidance recommends raising the first Fountain to level 15 to unlock the next, then repeating that production ladder. |
| Curse Research Lab | Raises Curse Resistance so squads can fight stronger seasonal targets. | Build towards the next alliance capture requirement, not an arbitrary power number. |
| Protector’s Field | Holds and develops Desert Protector systems. | Community strategy commonly pauses it at level 10 early because later levels compete for scarce Water and Mithril; verify costs on your live screen. |
| Altar | Improves Desert Protector attributes. | Fund it when Protector use becomes part of the alliance’s capture or battle plan. |
| Alliance Center | Produces Spices and unlocks alliance functions as its level rises. | Stay within its effective area and follow the alliance’s build, defence and donation instructions. |
Production first, then access. A Fountain producing Sacred Water for the remaining season usually matters more than a small combat bonus today; enough Curse Resistance to join tomorrow’s capture matters more than resistance with no declared target.
Plan Curse Resistance around the alliance
Curse Resistance is a seasonal combat gate. When resistance is too low, ordinary upgrades may barely change the result against a cursed target. Before spending permanent hero materials, compare the target requirement with the resistance shown on the seasonal screen.
Use a declared resistance target
- Ask leadership which city, Digging Stronghold or enemy level is next.
- Record the resistance requirement and operation time.
- Upgrade the Curse Research Lab towards that exact breakpoint.
- Claim individual season-goal rewards after each relevant upgrade; community reports note that these claims may not always show an obvious notification.
- Stop and reassess after the target becomes comfortable rather than spending automatically.
For organised captures, alliances may concentrate resources around a high-resistance rally leader because community testing reports that the leader’s resistance can influence the rally’s effectiveness. Treat the selected leader and exact requirement as an alliance decision, not a reason for every member to compete for the highest number.
Build the Fountain production ladder
Official Season 3 resource guidance describes five Blessing Fountains. Raising the first to level 15 unlocks the second; bringing the second to level 15 unlocks the third, and the pattern continues. This makes level 15 a strategic production breakpoint rather than just another building level.
- Keep Sacred Water production running and collect it regularly.
- Compare the cost of the next Fountain unlock with an urgent resistance requirement.
- Do not leave an unlocked Fountain unbuilt while spending the same materials on a marginal project.
- Remember that production time lost in week one cannot be recovered during the final week.
Use Desert Protectors deliberately
Desert Protectors are special seasonal units created partly from soldiers lost in battle who cannot enter the Hospital or Emergency Center. Alliance assistance completes their conversion. Official guidance says they are stronger than ordinary troops of the same level, but they disappear after participating in battle and cannot be healed or reused.
| Protector count | Officially documented unlock | Operational meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 500 | Power of Adaptation | Adds resistance and attribute benefits. |
| 750 | Death Shockwave | Adds an effect in specified battles when the Protector squad is defeated. |
| 1,000 | Blue Flame Spell | Adds a continuing effect after a successful base attack. |
| 1,250 | Protector Rally | Unlocks the special rally system and associated march effects. |
Because Protectors are consumed, do not attach them to routine battles merely because they are available. Save them for alliance captures, record attempts, important bosses or operations where leadership has called for them. Check the Protector count and active skills before deploying.

Alliance Center and Spice War strategy
Spices continuously influence the Alliance Center. Official guidance says the Center upgrades automatically when Spice holdings reach the required amount and can downgrade if the total falls below the threshold. It also unlocks functions at important levels:
| Alliance Center level | Function unlocked |
|---|---|
| 5 | Mithril Plant |
| 10 | Oil Coal Mine |
| 15 | Sacred Water Hut |
| 20 | Obelisk |
Cities and the Center produce Spices over time, while an attacking victory in Spice War can plunder them from an enemy alliance. This means the alliance level is not permanently secured. Members should know the defence window, teleport plan, rally caller and shielding instructions before the battle begins.
How to approach a Spice War
- Before declaration: confirm the enemy, war time, attendance, teleport area and who can issue calls.
- Before battle: heal, refill troops, set squads, remove marches from long gathering tasks and keep at least one relocation available.
- At opening: follow the marked objective. Scattered solo attacks trade troops for very little season value.
- During the war: attack secondary Alliance Center buildings when the plan calls for it; community documentation reports that these affect the amount of Spice that can be plundered.
- If behind: continue scoring achievable objectives. A losing battlefield is not permission to abandon all contribution.
- At the end: heal, record what worked and prepare for the next round rather than arguing from the power totals alone.
Claim Mithril without missing quiet sources
Mithril often becomes the constraint because several important buildings compete for it. Build a collection routine:
- Claim rewards from occupied Digging Strongholds through the alliance city interface.
- Complete Desert Ruins radar missions and open Desert Treasures.
- Check visitors and seasonal goal pages.
- Take first-kill rewards from eligible seasonal zombies, Doom Walkers and Sandworms.
- Collect from the Mithril Plant after the Alliance Center unlocks it.
- Do not spend Mithril simply to remove an upgrade notification.
Build an Oasis from week five
The official Oasis guide states that later in the season commanders greenify desert tiles to advance both individual and warzone progress. After a city is captured, nearby tiles become the starting point, and Recon Planes greenify adjacent desert. From week five, areas such as Quarries and Trade Posts can also be greenified.
- Greenification awards Profession EXP and contributes to warzone milestones.
- Profession skills can expand a greenification action from 1×1 to larger areas.
- Desert Artifacts may appear; official guidance currently limits each commander to five Artifact claims per day.
- An area above 80% greenification can be raised in level where the live season rules allow it.
Greenify from the alliance’s declared front rather than creating isolated patches. Shared pathing and area completion are more valuable than visually impressive but disconnected tiles.
Your daily Season 3 loop
- Read the operation order: check the next capture, resistance target, rally time and any Spice defence warning.
- Collect production: Blessing Fountains, Alliance Center functions, Digging Stronghold Mithril and seasonal goal rewards.
- Spend to the declared target: production unlock, Curse Resistance or the seasonal building leadership currently needs.
- Complete limited activities: Desert Ruins, visitors, first kills, Sandworms, Desert Treasures and Oasis actions when available.
- Preserve special assets: do not consume Protectors, stamina or rare seasonal items before checking the event timetable.
- Prepare the next login: start the next seasonal upgrade and position the base or squads for the scheduled operation.
The complete eight-week roadmap
This roadmap explains what normally arrives and what it changes. Exact unlock hours have changed between releases, so use it to prepare—not to overrule the countdown displayed in your own Season Calendar.
Week 1 — Build the engine
New: Protector’s Field, Curse Research Lab, Blessing Fountains, Alliance Center, Purge Action, Digging Stronghold Clash, Sandworm Crisis, Oasis Stage 1, City Clash and Marshall’s Exclusive Weapon.
Your job: repair the seasonal buildings, take the Protector’s Field to the useful early breakpoint without starving the economy, unlock Fountain production, raise resistance for the next declared target and join organised city captures.
Alliance job: place and repair the Alliance Center, nominate the resistance rally leader, publish city paths and stop members wasting declarations.
Week 2 — Explore, greenify and expand
New: full Oasis Project activity, Archaeology & Digging, Desert and Alliance Vaults, Return of the Dead, level 3–4 city access, the first Trade Post timing and Hero Swap.
Your job: use compasses and vault assistance, greenify from connected territory, keep resistance ahead of the city plan and use Hero Swap only when it produces a genuinely stronger usable formation.
Alliance job: coordinate vault help, defend the Alliance Center during Return of the Dead, map city ownership and prepare Trade Post targets.
Week 3 — Factions and the competitive map
New: faction selection/awards, level 5–6 cities, more Trade Post levels, Worm Expert activity, Scarlett’s promotion to UR and Schuyler’s Exclusive Weapon.
Your job: decide whether Scarlett’s promotion improves a formation you will actually use, keep developing resistance and prepare for cross-warzone Trade Post pressure.
Alliance job: align with the faction plan, distribute city routes, choose defendable Trade Posts and brief members for the war system arriving next.
Week 4 — Spice War begins
New: Spice War, faction attack/defence assignments, repeated declaration cycles, Pyramid War activity and the final level 7 city unlock around the end of the week in the commonly documented schedule.
Your job: attend the announced window with healed troops and relocations, follow one target caller and protect special units for meaningful objectives.
Alliance job: select opponents carefully, assign rally and defence groups, attack useful secondary buildings and communicate the end-of-war reset plan.
Week 5 — Oasis Stage 2
New: expanded greenification. Cities, Strongholds, Trade Posts and eventually the Capitol become part of a level-by-level restoration path; cross-warzone greenification opens within the season group under documented rules.
Your job: work from valid connected green land, help push areas past the completion threshold and claim discovered Desert Artifacts rather than leaving them on the map.
Alliance job: mark the active region, prevent wasted isolated paths and coordinate with the wider warzone so thousands of actions produce shared progress.
Week 6 — Finish the build
New: McGregor’s Exclusive Weapon while Oasis Stage 2 and Spice War continue.
Your job: decide whether McGregor is part of a real Missile formation before spending, finish high-value resistance and production milestones and stop opening upgrades that cannot repay their cost.
Alliance job: maintain Spice War attendance, complete the greenification route and preserve strength for the final faction competition.
Week 7 — Faction Duel and War’s Eve
New: Faction Duel and War’s Eve alongside the last Stage 2 Oasis push.
Your job: convert and help Protectors where required, complete remaining Oasis targets, use seasonal assets with a clear purpose and clear unfinished milestones.
Alliance job: publish final battle orders, assign participation roles, audit rewards and contributions and resolve distribution rules before settlement.
Week 8 — Settlement and Taste of Victory
New: Taste of Victory and the settlement state. Territory attacks and cross-warzone travel stop; city Spice, Stronghold Mithril and Alliance Center secondary production stop under the documented settlement rules.
Still available: Fountains continue producing Sacred Water; seasonal buildings, professions, Protectors, Sandworms, Desert Ruins, Desert Treasure, Desert Bazaar and Oasis activity remain available until their live timers close.
Your job: claim every reward, spend currencies intelligently, finish achievable profession/building goals and screenshot the final account state.
Alliance job: distribute season rewards transparently and before the deadline. Community documentation notes a Curse Research Lab level requirement for faction rewards; verify the requirement on your live Taste of Victory screen.
The unlocks players most often miss
| Unlock | Typical timing | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Marshall Exclusive Weapon | Week 1, commonly day 4 | Tank/support accounts should judge it against their universal weapon-shard plan. |
| Hero Swap | Semaine 2 | Swap only into a formation you can equip and skill properly. |
| Scarlett promotion to UR | Semaine 3 | Confirm the live requirements and whether she has a long-term place. |
| Arme exclusive Schuyler | Week 3, commonly day 4 | High relevance to Aircraft; low relevance to an account that will not build her. |
| Guerre des épices | From Week 4 | Attendance and coordination beat improvised individual attacks. |
| Scène Oasis 2 | Weeks 5–7 | Follow the shared level path and collect Artifacts. |
| Arme Exclusive McGregor | Week 6, commonly day 4 | Prioritise only for a genuine Missile plan. |
| Settlement | Week 8 | Stop relying on production that has ended and claim everything before conversion. |
Common Season 3 mistakes
- Ignoring Fountain breakpoints: missing an early production unlock costs Water every remaining hour.
- Overbuilding the Protector’s Field immediately: community planning commonly reserves early Mithril and Water for production and resistance first.
- Using ordinary power to solve a resistance problem: confirm Curse Resistance before consuming permanent hero resources.
- Forgetting alliance claims: Digging Stronghold and Center resources may sit behind interfaces that do not demand attention.
- Consuming Protectors casually: they disappear after battle and may be needed for a declared capture.
- Treating Spices as personal currency: they determine alliance systems, war objectives and settlement position.
- Following an old calendar blindly: always trust the event timer and leadership announcement shown on your server.
