Who operates this website

Game Zone Academy is an independent community resource operated by Game Zone Studios for Last War players and approved Game Zone alliance members. Privacy questions and data requests can be submitted through the issue form.

Information we receive

• Alliance access requests: commander name, server number, email address, selected verification channel, optional contact handle and optional note.
• Website issue reports: name, email address, issue category, optional page address and message.
• Member accounts: WordPress account details, assigned Alliance role and normal security records required to operate authenticated access.
• Member activity: approved account name, clearance level, last login time and most recent Academy activity time. Leadership uses this to understand recent member use and administer private access.
• Aggregate website analytics: page views, general referral source, page popularity, device and browser category, and broad geographic reporting collected through the locally hosted Independent Analytics service. These reports are intended to measure overall website use rather than identify individual visitors.
• Technical information: hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, request times, browser information and error logs.

Why this information is used

Information is used to verify Alliance membership, create and protect approved accounts, show authorised leadership which members have used the private Academy recently, understand which public pages and guides are useful, improve website performance and navigation, respond to reports, correct published material, prevent abuse and maintain website security. Member activity does not record IP addresses, location or a page-by-page browsing history. Analytics are used for aggregate website reporting, not behavioural advertising. Information is not sold.

Where it goes and how long it is kept

Alliance requests and account information are available only to authorised Academy administrators and the service providers needed to host the website and deliver email. Last login and recent activity times are also visible to authorised Alliance leadership and remain attached to the member account until corrected or deleted. Contact and feedback submissions are stored privately in the WordPress Academy Feedback inbox so administrators can review and respond to them; an email notification may also be attempted. They are never added to a public profile. Independent Analytics reports are created and stored within this WordPress website rather than being sent to a separate advertising platform. Records are kept only while needed for verification, account administration, website measurement, security, correction work or reasonable record-keeping, then reviewed for deletion.

Cookies and local browser data

The website uses essential WordPress cookies for sign-in, security and requested account functions. The interactive planners calculate in your browser and do not add their entries to your member profile. Independent Analytics measures aggregate website use without setting analytics cookies. Game Zone Academy does not use advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies. If non-essential cookie-based services are introduced later, this notice and the consent controls will be updated first.

Your choices and rights

You may ask what personal information is held about you, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent where consent is relied upon, or object to certain uses. Submit the request through the issue form and include enough information to verify your identity. People in the UK may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
