Season 3 Engineer Profession Tree
Build a practical Season 3 Engineer path from level 1 to 100, prioritising compounding profession EXP, construction, research and the Golden Kingdom skills that change alliance operations.
The supplied S3 Engineer tree uses 107 points. Copy the green number shown beneath every skill: green means the skill is maxed, amber means some points are used, and red means leave it at zero. The table below translates every icon into a named skill and exact allocation.
How the Season 3 tree works
Season 3 raises the Profession Level cap to 100. Each five-level band opens two Engineer nodes plus one right-column seasonal node. Read the supplied tree from the bottom upward: levels 1–50 are on the left half, then levels 55–100 continue from the bottom of the right half.
- Profession points are limited. Level 100 does not mean every visible rank can be purchased.
- Unlock level is not priority. A late node can be valuable, but it should not interrupt a better compounding skill.
- Seasonal points return. Points invested in the right-hand seasonal column are refunded when that seasonal tree resets; confirm the live Profession Hall notice before relying on a reset.
- Active skills need use. A five-point active node has poor value if its cooldown is repeatedly left ready.
Recommended Season 3 Engineer tree
This Academy tree uses the supplied clean in-game icon atlas inside our original layout. The single Academy badge on each card is the exact number of points to place in that node; no source recommendation markers or interface fragments are reused.

How to copy the tree
If you have all 107 points
- Reset the Engineer tree only after recording your current allocation.
- Start at level 1 in the table and enter each number exactly.
- Complete both Engineer columns before moving to the seasonal node on the same row.
- Stop when the counter shows 107 points used and compare every non-zero node with the image.
If you have fewer than 107 points, follow the rows in unlock order and keep the highest locked rows at zero. Do not remove prerequisite points from lower rows simply to imitate a later green node.
Phase 2 · Build the permanent growth engine
- Build for Free and Research for Free: increase the free-finish threshold on construction and research. Finish short timers without consuming speed-ups.
- Build Now and Research Now: reduce active queues on their cooldown. Start a long, valuable timer before using them.
- Cooperative Construction and Cooperative Research: coordinate with an active Engineer partner; an unused cooperative skill produces no return.
- Resource-Saving: favour it when HQ, Tech Center or T10/T11 research costs are the bottleneck.
- Master Builder: the documented five ranks provide up to 25% building speed and deserve priority for accounts still pushing permanent construction.
Phase 3 · Add account-specific value
| Your bottleneck | Move points toward | Delay |
|---|---|---|
| HQ / building timers | Construction nodes, Master Builder, Resource-Saving | PvP mines and low-use gathering bonuses |
| Research / troop unlock | Research for Free, Research Now, Cooperative Research I/II | Construction ranks beyond current needs |
| Resources | Rapid Production, savings, gathering and monster rewards | Convenience nodes that do not solve the shortage |
| Alliance support | Outstanding Contribution, help skills, cooperative skills, banner utility | Solo rewards with weak alliance impact |
| Spice War | Siege tools, cleanup/teleport utility and Summon Mummies | More growth EXP after level 100 |
Seasonal column in this build
| Unlock | Skill | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Combat Experience | 0/3 in the supplied end-state tree. |
| 5 | Building Inspiration I | 3/3 — max. |
| 10 | Double Exchange | 0/3 — skip. |
| 15 | Contaminated Land Teleport | 1/1 — take. |
| 20 | Double Conversion | 1/1 — take. |
| 25 | Professional Insights | 5/5 — max. |
| 30 | Sand’s Protection | 0/5 — skip. |
| 35 | Double Greenification | 1/1 — take. |
| 40–50 | Fragile Spell, Shrinking Spell, Protector’s Oath | 0 on all three. |
| 55 | Sandstorm | 0/1 — skip. |
| 60 | Nature’s Touch | 1/1 — take. |
| 65–80 | Trap Landmine, Indomitable Will, Explosive Enhancement, Sandworm Trap | 0 on all four. |
| 85 | Trade Discount | 1/1 — take. |
| 90 | Summon Mummies | 1/1 — take. |
Use resets at milestones, not after mistakes
- Opening build: maximise Profession EXP and permanent growth.
- Oasis pivot: before greenification, make room for Double Greenification and then Nature’s Touch.
- Level-cap pivot: once level 100 is secured, remove points whose only job was generating Profession EXP and move them into permanent economy or the next operation.
- War pivot: only change profession or rebuild for combat when the alliance has named the battle, date and role. A certificate or reset book is a strategic resource.
Capture the current tree, count the points that must remain to unlock dependent nodes, and write the replacement allocation first. The interface may enforce prerequisites that make a tempting high-level node more expensive than its displayed rank.
Engineer cooldown routine
- Daily: claim Extra Meal, use Rapid Production when storage has room, use Professional Insights, and check active construction/research.
- Before Build Now / Research Now: start the longest worthwhile queue, request alliance help, then activate the skill.
- Before cooperative skills: agree the target and time with the receiving Engineer; confirm both accounts can act.
- Before Oasis actions: follow the alliance route so enlarged greenification connects to the intended region.
- Before Spice War: verify targets, shields, teleports, banner placement, traps and the officer authorised to call Summon Mummies.
Common Engineer mistakes
- Buying every new row at one rank and finishing none of the compounding skills.
- Leaving Professional Insights, Build Now or Research Now off cooldown for days.
- Using queue-reduction skills on short or low-value work.
- Keeping early Profession EXP nodes after level 100 without checking whether they still produce value.
- Taking PvP traps and banners without an alliance placement plan.
- Switching to War Leader because a war exists, without knowing whether you will rally, reinforce or fight.
- Copying a level-100 tree at level 40 instead of funding the growth engine that reaches later tiers.
