Tank Command briefing

Build the formation in finished stages

01 · Accessible squadMurphy + Violet

Protect Kimberly, Mason and Monica while the permanent UR heroes are being unlocked. Spend enough to progress, but keep premium gear on transferable heroes.

02 · Established Tank squadMurphy + Williams

Run Kimberly, Stetmann and Marshall behind them. This is the dependable five-Tank reference formation and receives the full same-type lineup bonus.

03 · Resource orderCarry → frontline → support

Complete Kimberly’s next meaningful star, skill, gear or weapon breakpoint; then solve the defender that dies first; then improve the second carry and Marshall’s team buff.

Seasonal UR promotions can change the best five for an individual account. Use the battle-report guide to test promoted Mason, Violet or Scarlett against the hero they would actually replace.

Aircraft Command briefing

Protect the burst, then add pressure

01 · Accessible squadCage + Carlie

Protect DVA with Maxwell and Sarah filling the remaining back-row roles. Use transferable gear while the permanent UR formation is assembled.

02 · Established Aircraft squadCarlie + Lucius

Run DVA, Morrison and Schuyler behind them. The full five-Aircraft formation supplies the maximum same-type bonus, mixed Energy and Physical damage, Defence reduction and control.

03 · Resource orderDVA → failing lane → second threat

Finish DVA’s next carry breakpoint, strengthen the defender that collapses first, then develop Morrison’s Defence reduction and Schuyler’s back-row disruption.

UR Sarah can replace an attacker when her team Attack window produces more total damage than the lost slot. Test both versions against the same opponent instead of relying on displayed power.

Missile Command briefing

Protect the back-row hunters

01 · Accessible squadElsa + available defender

Protect Tesla with Venom, Braz or Kane filling temporary back-row positions. Build reusable gear and preserve premium materials for the permanent Missile five.

02 · Established Missile squadAdam + McGregor

Run Tesla, Fiona and Swift behind them. The full formation combines retaliation, taunt, back-row pressure, all-target damage and execution.

03 · Resource orderTesla → failing lane → Fiona

Finish Tesla’s next carry breakpoint, repair whichever defender collapses first, then build Fiona’s broad pressure. Swift follows when early execution is the missing result.

Venom and Braz promotions are alternatives, not automatic upgrades. Compare them with the exact back-row hero they would replace and remember that promotion changes their PvE roles as well as their PvP kits.

Murphy

Unyielding Warrior

A team-protection defender whose value rises when the enemy relies heavily on physical damage.

Position
Front row
Damage
Physical
Skill order
Ironclad Barrier → Stand Firm → Cannon Fire
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Cannon Fire

Deals physical damage to an enemy. This is his lowest strategic skill priority.

Passive

Stand Firm

Reduces damage taken by front-row units, strengthening both frontline positions.

Tactics

Ironclad Barrier

Temporarily raises physical damage reduction for the front row; later star progression can broaden its team value.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises Murphy’s core attributes and skill-cycle speed after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Reach 4 stars for the major expertise breakpoint, then 5 stars once Kimberly’s carry breakpoint is secure. Murphy’s value comes from keeping both front positions alive, so partial investment is less useful than completing a real defensive milestone.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: useful after Kimberly’s weapon is established. Early levels improve Murphy himself; later milestones are more valuable when they strengthen the formation rather than merely adding personal power.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar first. Choose the next defensive promotion from the damage type actually killing the frontline.

Squad partners

Williams is the natural Tank partner: Williams supplies broad Defence while Murphy adds front-row and physical protection.

Best uses and limitations

Strong general frontline, particularly useful against physical-heavy formations. Less specialised against energy burst.

Read the battle report

Check whether Murphy or his lane partner dies first, how much physical damage each defender takes, and whether the back row survives long enough to complete another tactics cycle.

Investment verdict

High-value early and long-term Tank defender. A safe investment when Tank is your declared main formation.

Skill order
Iron Will → All-Around Armor → Stun Bomb

Skills explained

Auto attack

Stun Bomb

Deals physical damage with a small-area impact. Damage is not his main reason for selection.

Passive

All-Around Armor

Reduces all damage taken by Williams, helping him remain active under pressure.

Tactics

Iron Will

Raises Defence for the two front units; later progression expands the effect to the whole squad.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and skill-cycle speed after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Four stars is the key practical target because his protection becomes much more useful to the whole formation. Five stars is a long-term main-squad finish, not a reason to delay Kimberly’s damage breakpoint.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: treat it as a frontline milestone. Test each meaningful level against the same opponent; its value is the extra time created for Kimberly and Stetmann, not Williams’s personal damage.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar first. Give Williams the stronger defensive set when he is the first hero dying.

Squad partners

Murphy forms the standard two-defender Tank frontline. Kimberly, Stetmann and Marshall then operate behind them.

Best uses and limitations

Excellent general-purpose frontline for PvP, campaign and sustained combat.

Read the battle report

Compare his damage taken, survival time and the timing of the first back-row death. If Williams remains standing while the other lane collapses, gear or position may matter more than another star.

Investment verdict

One of the safest Tank investments. Four-star progression is particularly meaningful because his team protection expands.

Barrage Strike → Energy Assault → Energy Boost

Skills explained

Auto attack

Energy Assault

Fires an energy rocket at a random enemy.

Passive

Energy Boost

Raises Kimberly’s energy damage throughout the battle.

Tactics

Barrage Strike

Launches multiple rockets at random enemies; star progression adds rockets and damage.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and skill-cycle speed after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Kimberly is normally the first Tank UR taken to 4 stars and then 5 stars. Finish her major breakpoint before spreading universal shards across several unfinished heroes.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: highest Tank priority for most accounts. Unlock it when available, build the early formation-wide milestones, and make Level 30 a deliberate carry target rather than pushing every Tank weapon evenly.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip first. She should normally receive the strongest offensive Tank gear.

Squad partners

Murphy and Williams protect her; Marshall raises team Attack; Stetmann supplies a second energy damage threat.

Best uses and limitations

Strong across general PvE, bosses and PvP, although random targeting can create variable results.

Read the battle report

She should be one of the formation’s largest damage bars. If her damage is low, check whether she died before casting, faced a counter, or lacked protection before buying more Attack.

Investment verdict

Top-priority investment for most Tank accounts. Protect her universal shards, skills and offensive gear.

Skills explained

Auto attack

Orb Lightning

Fires an energy projectile through its path.

Passive

Critical Charge

Raises Stetmann’s critical-hit rate.

Tactics

Lightning Rush

Fires energy attacks at several random enemies; star progression adds projectiles and damage.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and skill-cycle speed after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Bring him to a functional 4-star breakpoint after the core Tank formation is stable. Five stars is worthwhile for a committed Tank main, but should not interrupt a nearly completed Kimberly or frontline milestone.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: a second-carry project. Raise it after the account’s primary Tank weapon and essential team-support milestones; compare its next level with the frontline upgrade currently limiting his survival time.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip. Compare his next milestone with Kimberly rather than splitting ore evenly.

Squad partners

Works in the standard five-Tank lineup behind Murphy and Williams, normally alongside Kimberly and Marshall.

Best uses and limitations

Strong PvP and general damage. Critical and random targeting introduce more report-to-report variation.

Read the battle report

Judge repeated fights because random targets and critical hits create variance. Track his damage, number of tactics cycles and whether he survives as long as Kimberly.

Investment verdict

High-value second attacker for a committed Tank formation, but finish Kimberly’s important breakpoint before scattering resources.

Community skill reference: Stetmann dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

Marshall from Last War: Survival

Marshall

Blade of Legion

Position
Back row

Energy
Skill order
Command Strategy → Rapid Start → Triad Harmony
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Triad Harmony

Deals energy damage to enemies ahead.

Passive

Rapid Start

Speeds Marshall’s skill cycle and reduces damage taken by the hero with the highest Attack.

Tactics

Command Strategy

Raises the Attack of all squad members for a limited duration; star progression improves duration and effects.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and skill-cycle speed after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Four stars is a strong support breakpoint because Marshall’s team value scales with the attackers he buffs. Five stars becomes more attractive after the main carry and frontline are no longer unfinished.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: prioritise the levels that improve the team buff or its uptime. It usually follows Kimberly’s carry weapon and should not be judged by Marshall’s own damage number.

Gear priority

Keep him alive and cycling skills. Do not take the best gun or chip away from Kimberly merely to raise Marshall’s personal damage.

Squad partners

Fits the full Tank lineup and is especially valuable when Kimberly or Stetmann can exploit his Attack window.

Best uses and limitations

Strong team support for bosses and coordinated Tank damage. Judge him by total squad output, not his personal column.

Read the battle report

Compare total squad damage with and without him under the same conditions. His personal bar can remain small while Kimberly and Stetmann gain the value.

Investment verdict

A valuable fifth Tank hero and damage amplifier. Skill investment matters more than chasing personal damage gear.

Community skill reference: Marshall dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

Mason from Last War: Survival

Physical
Skill order
Zombie Purge → Fire Cover → Quick Reload
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Quick Reload

Uses a Minigun to deal physical damage.

Passive

Zombie Purge

Raises back-row Tank hero damage against monsters.

Tactics

Fire Cover

Deals a strong burst of physical Minigun damage.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises Mason’s attributes after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Five SSR stars prepare Mason for his Season 1 UR promotion. Confirm the promotion requirements before feeding excess shards into Wall of Honor, because the promotion is a planned conversion rather than an ordinary rarity swap.

Exclusive weapon

No standard Tank weapon race should pull resources away from the established UR core. His major long-term breakpoint is the seasonal UR promotion and its upgraded kit.

Gear priority

Gun then Data Chip when he is used for boss damage. Avoid taking permanent UR gear from a stronger PvP carry.

Squad partners

Kimberly and another back-row Tank attacker benefit from his monster-focused passive.

Best uses and limitations

Excellent early PvE and boss specialist. Less compelling than the full UR damage core in developed PvP.

Read the battle report

Separate monster fights from PvP. His monster bonus can make him look exceptional in PvE without proving he should replace Stetmann in a developed competitive formation.

Investment verdict

One of the best SSR projects. His Season 1 UR promotion extends his usefulness, but plan the shard cost before promoting.

Community skill reference: Mason dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

Monica from Last War: Survival
SSRTankSupport

Monica

Treasure Hunter

An early PvE support hero valued for extra world-map resources and monster utility rather than competitive PvP damage.

Position
Back row
Damage
Physical
Skill order
Treasure Hunter → Weak Spot Scan → Dual Fire Cannon
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Dual Fire Cannon

Deals physical damage with her mounted weapons.

Passive

Treasure Hunter

Improves rewards obtained from eligible world-map monster activity.

Tactics

Weak Spot Scan

Damages a target and supports follow-up damage through its debuff effect.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Raise her far enough to unlock and improve the PvE economy you actually use. Five stars is reasonable through natural SSR income, but not ahead of Mason, Violet or Scarlett promotion planning.

Exclusive weapon

No premium exclusive-weapon target. Her defining investment is resource utility, so preserve weapon materials for the permanent main formation.

Gear priority

Use spare gear. Her resource utility should not take premium offensive pieces from the main attacker.

Squad partners

Fits early Tank squads with Mason and Kimberly while the permanent UR formation is still being assembled.

Best uses and limitations

Useful for zombies, Doom Elites and resource farming; normally replaced in serious PvP.

Read the battle report

Do not rank her from personal damage. Measure the eligible resource reward, monster result and whether her debuff improves the squad’s total output.

Investment verdict

Develop enough to exploit her PvE economy. Avoid heavy late-game combat investment.

Community skill reference: Monica dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

Violet from Last War: Survival
SSR → URTankDefence

Violet

Poison Mistress

A readily available monster-resistant defender who can be promoted to UR during Season 2.

Position
Front row
Damage
Physical
Skill order
Defensive tactics → Z-Armor → Poison Frog Spray
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Poison Frog Spray

Continuously deals physical damage with toxic spray.

Passive

Z-Armor

Reduces the damage Violet takes from monsters.

Tactics

Poison Gas

Applies physical area pressure to enemy targets.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Build to five SSR stars if you intend to use the Season 2 UR promotion. Before promotion, her monster resistance is the reason to invest; after promotion, reassess her against the actual first-squad defender she might replace.

Exclusive weapon

Her seasonal UR promotion is the important account decision. Do not divert scarce exclusive-weapon materials from Kimberly or the permanent Tank core merely because Violet’s displayed power is higher.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar. Use her as a frontline bridge until permanent UR defenders are established.

Squad partners

Pairs well with Murphy in accessible early Tank formations; Mason and Kimberly operate behind them.

Best uses and limitations

Strong early PvE frontline and useful against monsters. Her Season 2 promotion can restore relevance.

Read the battle report

In monster fights, compare damage taken and survival. In PvP, check whether she survives long enough to protect the back row; her PvE resistance does not automatically transfer into PvP value.

Investment verdict

A good free-to-play defender and sensible SSR shard target when preparing for her UR promotion.

Community skill reference: Violet dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

Scarlett from Last War: Survival
SSR → URTankDefence

Scarlet Ironwall

A physical frontline defender with back-row protection who becomes promotable to UR during Season 3.

Position

Skill order
Bastion Guard → T-5 Armor → Flame Burst
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Flame Burst

Deals physical flame-themed damage.

Passive

T-5 Armor

Improves Scarlett’s ability to withstand incoming damage.

Tactics

Bastion Guard

Provides defensive protection that helps the formation survive burst pressure.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Preserve SSR shards toward five stars when planning her Season 3 UR promotion. The promoted form deserves a new test; do not assume its ceiling from the temporary SSR version.

Exclusive weapon

Promotion strength and defensive skills come before a separate weapon race. Keep premium weapon resources focused on the heroes remaining in the final formation.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar first. Match the stronger piece to the damage shown in battle reports.

Squad partners

Can partner Murphy or Williams and protect Tank damage dealers in the back row.

Best uses and limitations

A useful early and mid-game PvP defender; Season 3 UR promotion can make her a serious formation option.

Read the battle report

Watch the hero directly behind Scarlett. Her success is measured by delaying that back-row death and reducing the lane’s incoming pressure, not by personal damage.

Investment verdict

Worth preserving SSR shards for commanders planning her Season 3 promotion. Do not judge the promoted form by the SSR ceiling.

Community skill reference: Scarlett dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

Richard from Last War: Survival

Skill order
Multi-Load → Howitzer → Ballistic Boost
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Howitzer

Fires artillery for physical damage.

Passive

Ballistic Boost

Raises Richard’s physical damage potential.

Tactics

Multi-Load

Launches multiple artillery attacks for area pressure.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Use naturally earned SSR shards while he remains in the active squad. Do not chase five stars with resources required for a seasonal promotion or permanent Tank hero.

Exclusive weapon

No premium weapon target. His role is to bridge the account into stronger attackers.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip only when he is an active early-squad attacker; do not over-invest temporary gear.

Squad partners

Works behind accessible defenders such as Violet, Scarlett or Murphy.

Best uses and limitations

Useful in early campaign and wave-clearing content; eventually replaced by UR attackers.

Read the battle report

If his area damage no longer changes campaign or wave outcomes, that is the signal to stop investing and transfer the reusable gear to the replacement.

Investment verdict

A practical bridge hero, not a priority for scarce long-term materials.

Community skill reference: Richard dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

Skills explained

Auto attack

Missile Strike

Deals physical damage with a missile attack.

Passive

Precision Aim

Improves Farhad’s offensive reliability.

Tactics

Missile Valley

Applies multi-target physical damage.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes after the relevant star progression.

Star breakpoints

Accept low-cost natural progress, but stop before temporary stars delay Mason or the promoted defenders.

Exclusive weapon

No premium weapon target. Preserve exclusive-weapon materials for the final UR Tank core.

Gear priority

Use available offensive gear without diverting ore from Kimberly, Mason or the permanent main squad.

Squad partners

Fits an early same-type Tank formation with accessible Defence and Support heroes.

Best uses and limitations

Early campaign and PvE area damage. Limited late-game investment return.

Read the battle report

Compare his damage with the replacement using the same gear and opponent. Replace him when his area pressure no longer earns an extra kill or faster clear.

Investment verdict

Use while helpful, then replace. Avoid premium shards, ore and blueprint investment.

Skills explained

Auto attack

Shotgun

Deals physical damage with a close-range weapon.

Tactics

Grapeshot Burst

Applies area physical damage.

Expertise

Field Combat

Raises Loki’s basic combat attributes.

Star breakpoints

Use only the shards supplied by normal early progression. Do not deliberately farm a late star breakpoint.

Exclusive weapon

No exclusive-weapon investment. Every scarce weapon resource belongs to a permanent UR hero.

Gear priority

Equip spare gear only; do not upgrade equipment specifically for Loki.

Squad partners

Any accessible early frontline while waiting for Mason, Kimberly or stronger attackers.

Best uses and limitations

Temporary early campaign and progression use.

Read the battle report

The useful question is whether replacing Loki improves the clear immediately. Once an SSR attacker performs better with the same gear, the bridge has ended.

Investment verdict

Early bridge only. Replace without regret once an SSR or UR attacker is ready.

Tactics

Flame Boost

Expertise

Field Combat

Star breakpoints

Minimal natural progression only. His replacement threshold arrives early.

Exclusive weapon

No exclusive-weapon investment.

Gear priority

Spare defensive gear only. Never spend valuable ore to build a dedicated Gump set.

Squad partners

Functions as a placeholder in the front row until Violet, Scarlett, Murphy or Williams is ready.

Best uses and limitations

Very early campaign use only.

Read the battle report

If Gump is the first death, move spare defensive gear only if it helps clear the current wall. Do not solve a temporary hero problem with permanent materials.

Investment verdict

Minimal investment. Replace as soon as a developed SSR or UR defender becomes available.

Skill order
Inferno Blaze → Energy Adaption → Dual-string Rocket
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Dual-string Rocket

Deals physical damage to an enemy. It is her lowest strategic skill priority.

Passive

Energy Adaption

Reduces the Energy Damage Carlie takes, making her especially valuable into Energy-heavy squads.

Tactics

Inferno Blaze

Hits all enemies and temporarily reduces their Energy Damage, protecting the whole formation.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises Carlie’s core attributes and skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

Bring Carlie to 4 stars once DVA’s carry breakpoint is secure, then finish 5 stars as the Aircraft frontline matures. Her value is time created for the back row, so complete defensive breakpoints rather than scattering shards.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: a secondary Aircraft priority after DVA. Build the levels that improve survival or formation protection; compare the next milestone with Lucius and the defender actually failing first.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar first. Give Carlie the stronger anti-Energy piece when Energy burst is what breaks the frontline.

Squad partners

Lucius completes the standard Aircraft frontline. DVA, Morrison and Schuyler then operate safely behind them.

Best uses and limitations

Excellent into Energy-based attackers and a dependable Aircraft anchor. Less specialised against physical-heavy pressure.

Read the battle report

Check Carlie’s damage taken, survival time and the damage type hitting her lane. If she survives while Lucius collapses, swap gear or positions before buying another Carlie upgrade.

Investment verdict

A core Aircraft investment. Build her for survival and team protection rather than personal damage.

Skills explained

Auto attack

Lightning Triple Strike

Deals physical damage to a front-row target. Damage is not his main job.

Passive

Silver Armor

Raises front-row damage reduction and adds further protection from Energy Damage.

Tactics

Knight’s Spirit

Grants all allies a timed Energy Damage reduction effect, with extra Aircraft benefits at key stars.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises Lucius’s core attributes and skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

Four stars is the first serious target because his defensive kit supports more than his own health bar. Move toward 5 stars after DVA and the weakest frontline breakpoint are settled.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: high-value when its milestone improves team protection. Many Aircraft accounts raise it after DVA and before luxury attacker levels, but the battle report should decide whether defence is the current constraint.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar first. Use battle reports to decide which defensive piece needs the next promotion.

Squad partners

Carlie supplies the second durable frontline slot. His protection buys DVA, Morrison and Schuyler time to cycle their tactics.

Best uses and limitations

Outstanding against Energy-heavy Tank and Aircraft damage. He still needs a durable partner rather than standing alone.

Read the battle report

Measure whether both defenders and the back row survive longer during his protection window. Low personal damage is normal; an early DVA death means the protection chain failed.

Investment verdict

A foundational Aircraft defender and one of the safest long-term investments for an Aircraft main.

Community skill reference: Lucius dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

Auto attack

Vortex Missile

Passive

Armament Upgrade

Raises DVA’s critical-hit rate and improves the consistency of her burst.

Tactics

Steel Barrage

Attacks every enemy with heavy Energy Damage, making it her defining skill.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

DVA is normally the first Aircraft UR taken to 4 stars and then 5 stars. Finish her meaningful carry breakpoint before spreading universal shards across the rest of the formation.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: the first Aircraft weapon priority for most accounts. Unlock and build its efficient milestones first; Level 30 should be a deliberate main-carry project before luxury levels elsewhere.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip first. DVA should normally receive the best offensive gear and exclusive-weapon resources in an Aircraft squad.

Squad partners

Carlie and Lucius protect her; Schuyler adds back-row control while Morrison supplies physical damage and Defence reduction.

Best uses and limitations

Top Aircraft PvP carry and strong general damage dealer. Her value falls sharply when the frontline collapses before Steel Barrage cycles.

Read the battle report

She should be one of the largest damage bars. If she underperforms, check whether she died before another Steel Barrage, faced Energy mitigation, or lacked the protection needed to cycle.

Investment verdict

Usually the first Aircraft attacker to finish. Concentrate shards, skills, gear and exclusive-weapon investment rather than spreading them.

Raises Morrison’s Physical Damage throughout the battle.

Tactics

Armor-Piercing Shot

Fires repeated random hits and stacks Defence reduction on targets, increasing follow-up damage.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

Establish 4 stars across the usable Aircraft five, then take Morrison toward 5 stars after DVA. His value rises when the whole formation can exploit the Defence reduction.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: a later seasonal second-carry project. Secure DVA and the essential frontline weapon milestones first, then compare Morrison’s next weapon level with Schuyler’s control or Lucius’s protection.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip. Develop him after the main carry unless enemy anti-Energy protection makes his physical damage especially important.

Squad partners

DVA and Schuyler exploit the pressure created by his Defence reduction; Carlie and Lucius keep the firing window open.

Best uses and limitations

Excellent sustained PvP pressure and valuable into teams built to resist Energy Damage. Random hit distribution can make results less predictable.

Read the battle report

Track his own damage and the squad’s follow-up damage after Defence reduction. Random hits create variance, so compare several similar fights rather than one unusually good or bad bar.

Investment verdict

A core full-Aircraft attacker and high-value second damage project after DVA’s important breakpoints.

Tactics

Blast Frenzy

Prioritises enemy back-row targets and can stun them for two seconds; later stars increase the number of targets.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

Four stars gives the control attacker a functional place in the established Aircraft five. Fifth-star investment normally follows DVA, Morrison and the frontline unless her extra target pressure is winning real fights.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: a control-and-damage project after the core carry and frontline milestones. Do not overvalue displayed power; test whether the next weapon breakpoint changes stuns, eliminations or tactics timing.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip. Prioritise enough offensive investment for her back-row hit to threaten a real elimination.

Squad partners

DVA converts Schuyler’s disruption into burst pressure, while Morrison adds physical damage and Carlie/Lucius provide protection.

Best uses and limitations

Particularly strong in PvP against fragile back-row carries and support heroes. Stun chance makes individual reports variable.

Read the battle report

Use repeated fights because stun chance changes outcomes. Record which back-row target she hits, whether it loses a tactics cast and whether the disruption allows DVA to secure an elimination.

Investment verdict

A core Aircraft control attacker. Finish the important four-star team structure before chasing luxury fifth-star gains.

Use spare offensive gear before promotion. After UR promotion, improve survivability and skill uptime without taking DVA’s best damage set.

Squad partners

Fits behind Carlie and Lucius with DVA plus either Schuyler or Morrison. She maintains the full Aircraft formation bonus.

Best uses and limitations

SSR Sarah is mainly a monster support. UR Sarah becomes a meaningful Aircraft buffer and may replace an attacker depending on opponent and account development.

Read the battle report

Judge total Aircraft damage during her Attack window, not Sarah’s personal bar. Compare the same opponent with Sarah and with the replaced attacker to see whether the buff repays the lost damage slot.

Investment verdict

Plan for the Season 4 promotion if Aircraft is a main formation. Judge the promoted kit separately from the limited SSR version.

Defense Boost → Z-Armor → Energy Bullet
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Energy Bullet

Deals Energy Damage while Cage performs his frontline role.

Passive

Z-Armor

Reduces the damage Cage takes from monsters; valuable in PvE but inactive in normal PvP.

Tactics

Defense Boost

Temporarily raises the Defence of both front-row heroes.

Expertise

Special Tactics

Raises Cage’s HP, Attack and Defence.

Star breakpoints

Use naturally earned SSR shards while Cage remains an active frontline hero. Stop deliberate star investment when Carlie or Lucius can take the slot at a functional breakpoint.

Exclusive weapon

No premium exclusive-weapon target. His job is to bridge the Aircraft frontline while reusable defensive gear is prepared.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar first. Use transferable defensive gear and avoid permanent premium investment once UR defenders are ready.

Squad partners

Pairs with Carlie or another durable defender while DVA, Maxwell and Sarah form an accessible Aircraft backline.

Best uses and limitations

Good early PvE and monster frontline; acceptable transitional PvP defender. Replaced by Carlie and Lucius in a developed formation.

Read the battle report

Separate monster resistance from PvP performance. If Cage survives monsters but disappears early against players, his passive is not solving the competitive problem.

Investment verdict

A useful bridge, not a final main-squad project. Invest only enough to stabilise the Aircraft formation.

Skills explained

Auto attack

Missile Strike

Deals physical damage to an enemy.

Passive

Zombie Killer

Raises Maxwell’s damage to monsters, giving him a clear PvE niche.

Tactics

Destructive Firepower

Deals stronger damage with star progression adding a stun chance.

Expertise

Special Tactics

Raises Maxwell’s HP, Attack and Defence.

Star breakpoints

Accept low-cost SSR progression while he is the active carry, but do not let a temporary fifth star delay DVA or the permanent Aircraft backline.

Exclusive weapon

No premium exclusive-weapon target. Transfer his offensive gear when DVA, Morrison or Schuyler reaches a usable breakpoint.

Gear priority

Gun then Data Chip when he is actively carrying early damage. Do not divert ore from DVA or a permanent UR attacker.

Squad partners

Works behind Cage or Carlie with Sarah supporting the back row while the UR Aircraft roster is assembled.

Best uses and limitations

Useful early PvE, monster damage and campaign progress. His lower rarity limits serious late-game PvP value.

Read the battle report

Compare monster and PvP reports separately. Stop investing when his monster bonus no longer compensates for the lower rarity in the content that matters to the account.

Investment verdict

A practical Aircraft bridge and secondary-squad attacker. Stop premium investment once the UR damage core becomes available.

Skills explained

Auto attack

Missile Strikes

Deals basic physical missile damage.

Tactics

Missile Barrage

Applies area damage to help clear early waves.

Expertise

Field Combat

Raises Ambolt’s basic HP, Attack and Defence.

Star breakpoints

Minimal natural progression only. His replacement threshold arrives as soon as an SSR Aircraft attacker is developed.

Exclusive weapon

No exclusive-weapon investment.

Gear priority

Spare offensive gear only. Never upgrade equipment specifically for Ambolt.

Squad partners

Any accessible early frontline; Cage, Sarah and Maxwell can complete a temporary Aircraft shell.

Best uses and limitations

Very early campaign and formation-bonus use. Low rarity leaves him without meaningful late-game scaling or utility.

Read the battle report

If an SSR replacement clears the same wave with Ambolt’s transferred gear, the bridge is complete. Do not solve the difference with permanent materials.

Investment verdict

Minimal investment. Replace immediately when a developed SSR or UR Aircraft attacker is available.

Tesla from Last War: Survival

Damage
Energy
Skill order
Electric Grid Lockdown → Lightning Chain → Electric Power Boost
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Auto attack

Lightning Chain

Deals Energy Damage to an enemy between tactics casts.

Passive

Electric Power Boost

Raises Tesla’s Energy Damage and strengthens the output of his whole kit.

Tactics

Electric Grid Lockdown

Strikes three back-row enemies with heavy Energy Damage, directly pressuring opposing attackers and support heroes.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

Tesla is normally the first Missile UR taken to 4 stars and then 5 stars. Finish his carry breakpoint before spreading universal shards across several incomplete Missile heroes.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: the first Missile priority for most accounts. Level 20 is an important foundation and Level 30 is a major carry milestone; complete one meaningful level before funding several half-built weapons.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip first. Tesla should normally receive the best offensive gear and exclusive-weapon resources in a Missile formation.

Squad partners

Adam and McGregor hold the frontline while Fiona and Swift add complementary back-row pressure.

Best uses and limitations

Excellent PvP back-row pressure and particularly dangerous into Aircraft formations. He still needs a stable frontline to reach repeated tactics cycles.

Read the battle report

His defining job is back-row pressure. Check whether Electric Grid Lockdown reaches the opposing carries, whether Tesla survives for another cycle and whether his targets are actually eliminated.

Investment verdict

The usual first Missile attacker project. His exclusive weapon has major milestones at levels 20 and 30, so finish meaningful breakpoints before spreading resources.

Skills explained

Auto attack

Targeted Strike

Targets the enemy with the lowest remaining HP, helping the squad convert damage into an elimination.

Passive

Precise Guidance

Raises Swift’s critical-hit rate for more reliable physical burst.

Tactics

Weakness Targeting

Attacks three random enemies and raises Swift’s Attack as the battle develops.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

Bring Swift to a functional 4-star breakpoint after Tesla and the formation structure are stable. Fifth-star investment is a tempo choice and should follow heroes solving more fundamental carry or frontline problems.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: a later execution project. Raise it after Tesla and essential defensive milestones; test whether the next level creates an extra early elimination rather than merely increasing displayed power.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip. Build him after Tesla’s important milestone unless physical damage is solving a specific matchup.

Squad partners

Tesla creates widespread back-row pressure, while Fiona adds all-target damage that helps Swift find low-HP finishing targets.

Best uses and limitations

Strong in sustained fights and useful for securing eliminations. Random tactics targeting can make individual reports vary.

Read the battle report

Track his target selection and the time of the first kill. If weakened enemies remain alive or the fight becomes a long attrition battle, Swift is not converting his specialist role.

Investment verdict

A core full-Missile attacker, normally developed after Tesla rather than in parallel with him.

Community skill reference: Swift dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

Fiona from Last War: Survival
URMissileAttack

Skills explained

Auto attack

Double Trajectory

Fires a physical attack at an enemy between tactics casts.

Passive

Ballistic Boost

Raises Fiona’s Physical Damage throughout the battle.

Tactics

Atomic Blast

Hits every enemy with Physical Damage, creating pressure across both rows.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

Fiona is a high-priority second Missile carry. Establish 4 stars across the usable formation, then pursue her 5-star breakpoint after Tesla unless the frontline is collapsing first.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: high-value co-carry project, particularly once available in the later seasons. Tesla usually establishes the first major weapon milestone; Fiona follows when her all-target pressure is the best next damage gain.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip. Her all-target tactics skill deserves real offensive gear once Tesla’s primary set is established.

Squad partners

Tesla attacks the back row while Fiona damages everyone; Swift then helps finish weakened targets.

Best uses and limitations

Excellent wave pressure and valuable in PvP when damage across the whole formation matters. Less focused than a single-target finisher.

Read the battle report

Check total formation damage after Atomic Blast and whether broad pressure enables Tesla or Swift to finish targets. If she dies before another cycle, protection is the first upgrade.

Investment verdict

A high-value complementary attacker and a core member of the finished UR Missile backline.

Skills explained

Auto attack

MK43 Vehicle-Mounted Machine Gun

Deals physical damage while Adam performs his frontline role.

Passive

Spike Armor

Reduces damage taken by front-row heroes, with stronger Missile protection at the relevant progression.

Tactics

Counter Defense

Places a retaliation effect on the frontline so incoming attacks trigger return damage.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

Four stars makes Adam a functional long-term frontline anchor. Move toward 5 stars after Tesla and the defender currently failing first have completed their nearest meaningful breakpoints.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: a defensive formation project rather than a damage race. Build it when Adam’s survival and retaliation window are the constraint; compare its next milestone with McGregor’s control weapon.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar first. Use battle reports to promote the defensive piece that answers the damage actually killing him.

Squad partners

McGregor supplies taunt and Attack reduction beside him; Tesla, Swift and Fiona exploit the extra time they create.

Best uses and limitations

Strong general Missile frontline with extra value against frequent attackers. Counter damage matters only while the frontline survives.

Read the battle report

Measure damage taken, survival time and retaliation contribution. High counter damage is only valuable if Adam remains alive long enough for the back row to cycle.

Investment verdict

The primary long-term Missile defender and a safe investment for a committed Missile main.

Community skill reference: Adam dossier. Live skill descriptions override archived values.

McGregor from Last War: Survival

Unyielding Heart → HP Boost → Forward Rush

Skills explained

Auto attack

Forward Rush

Deals physical damage to an enemy. Personal damage is secondary to his control.

Passive

HP Boost

Raises McGregor’s HP and improves his all-damage reduction.

Tactics

Unyielding Heart

Taunts front-row enemies and reduces their Attack, redirecting pressure away from vulnerable allies.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed.

Star breakpoints

Reach 4 stars once the core Missile carry is established, then consider 5 stars ahead of luxury attacker gains if his lane is the one collapsing. His taunt must survive long enough to matter.

Exclusive weapon

Exclusive weapon: an important Missile protection milestone and often the next major project after Tesla. Prioritise the levels that extend useful control or survival rather than personal damage.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar. Keep him durable enough to complete his taunt cycle rather than chasing personal damage.

Squad partners

Adam is the natural second defender. Together they combine protection, retaliation and enemy Attack reduction.

Best uses and limitations

Useful PvP control and frontline stability. He is much more convincing beside Adam than when asked to carry the frontline alone.

Read the battle report

Watch who attacks during his taunt, whether the enemy Attack reduction covers the dangerous window and which ally dies first. His own damage bar is not the success measure.

Investment verdict

An important second defender for the complete Missile formation; prioritise his survival and tactics effect.

Venom from Last War: Survival

A poison-and-Corrosion attacker whose Season 5 UR promotion gives developed Missile accounts another way to weaken the frontline.

Position

Skill order
Energy Overload → Corrosive Shot → Energy Boost
Open full dossier

Skills explained

Promoted auto attack

Corrosive Shot

Deals Energy Damage and applies Corrosion after the Season 5 UR promotion.

Passive

Energy Boost

Raises Venom’s Energy Damage so his repeated effects remain threatening.

Tactics

Energy Overload

Damages two front-row targets, applies poison and can reduce their Defence as the skill develops.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed in the promoted kit.

Star breakpoints

Prepare five SSR stars only when the Season 5 UR promotion is a real plan. Promotion resets him to 3 UR stars, so budget the post-promotion shards and skill rebuilding before committing.

Exclusive weapon

Promoted seasonal heroes do not enter the normal exclusive-weapon race. His UR promotion, Corrosion and Defence-reduction kit are the investment; preserve universal weapon shards for the permanent Missile core.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip when he has a genuine place in the active Missile backline. Use spare gear before promotion.

Squad partners

Tesla benefits from the pressure and weakened targets Venom creates; Adam and McGregor keep both attackers cycling.

Best uses and limitations

Good sustained frontline pressure and more relevant after his Season 5 promotion. He competes with the established UR attackers for a limited back-row slot.

Read the battle report

Compare the enemy frontline’s survival and Defence-dependent damage before and after Venom. His value is sustained Corrosion pressure, not simply beating Tesla’s personal bar.

Investment verdict

A worthwhile promotion for developed Missile accounts, but do not delay Tesla, Fiona or Swift’s decisive breakpoints merely to force him into the main squad.

Ancestral Wrath → Rocket Blast → Promotion Synergy

Skills explained

Promoted auto attack

Rocket Blast

Deals Physical Damage with his upgraded Missile weaponry.

Promoted passive

Promotion Synergy

Raises physical output according to the promoted heroes supporting the formation.

Promoted tactics

Ancestral Wrath

Hits all enemies and reduces their Attack Speed, slowing the opposing formation’s pressure.

Expertise

Super Sensing

Raises core attributes and improves skill-cycle speed after promotion.

Star breakpoints

Braz must reach five SSR stars for the Season 6 promotion, then returns to 3 UR stars. Plan the substantial shard cost required to rebuild him rather than treating the promotion badge as the whole expense.

Exclusive weapon

Promoted Braz has no normal exclusive-weapon priority. His seasonal UR kit and promoted-hero synergy are the relevant systems, leaving universal weapon shards for established heroes.

Gear priority

Gun and Data Chip after promotion. Before that, keep premium offensive equipment on the permanent UR carry.

Squad partners

Works best in a developed Missile or promoted-hero structure where his synergy passive and all-target pressure have support.

Best uses and limitations

Promoted Braz offers broad PvP disruption. His original SSR monster passive is lost on promotion, so PvE expectations should be reassessed.

Read the battle report

Compare enemy attack frequency, tactics timing and total formation pressure. Promotion removes his former monster passive, so judge PvP and monster reports separately.

Investment verdict

A meaningful Season 6 option for established accounts, not an automatic replacement for a stronger, fully developed UR attacker.

Tactics

Armor Boost

Temporarily raises the Defence of both front-row heroes.

Expertise

Special Tactics

Raises Elsa’s HP, Attack and Defence.

Star breakpoints

Use naturally earned SSR shards while Elsa holds an active frontline slot. Stop deliberate investment when Adam or McGregor reaches a workable breakpoint.

Exclusive weapon

No premium exclusive-weapon target. Her job is to preserve the Missile formation bonus while the permanent wall is assembled.

Gear priority

Armour and Radar. Use transferable gear and stop premium investment once Adam and McGregor are ready.

Squad partners

Pairs with either UR Missile defender during the transition and preserves the same-type formation bonus.

Best uses and limitations

Useful early PvE and monster frontline; serviceable as a temporary PvP defender. Her monster passive does not help in normal PvP.

Read the battle report

Separate her monster resistance from normal PvP defence. If she survives PvE but is the first player-battle death, the passive is not solving the competitive problem.

Investment verdict

A sensible bridge hero, not the final destination for rare shards, ore or blueprints.

Exclusive weapon

No exclusive-weapon investment.

Gear priority

Spare offensive gear only. Never upgrade a permanent set specifically for Kane.

Squad partners

Any accessible early Missile frontline; Elsa and Venom can help form a temporary same-type squad.

Best uses and limitations

Very early campaign and formation-bonus use. Low rarity leaves him without serious late-game scaling.
